Delaney was about 12 months. I just gave her the nuby sippy cup and fortunately for me, she just went with it. I didn't have any weening problems at all.
Do you have the Nuby?

I started (well, weaning from breast to cup) at 9 mos and he took to it perfectly. The ONLY bottle he gets is his bedtime one because I think drinking that much from a cup before bed gives him gas

We are going to have to do this soon and I'm just afraid to! Just like I'm afraid to get rid of her pacifiers!!! She only drinks like half of her sippy cup at a time, usually not even that, so I'm afraid that she won't drink all of her milk from it.

Christopher was a little over 12 months when I introduced the sippy cup. We lucked out and he got the hang of it right away. We had to try 4 different types of sippys before we found ones he liked though. Ended up going with Gerber Grins and Giggles sippies. Now that he's used the them he'll take other kinds though.

don't stres about it, my kids took a bottle or 2 until they were almost 3, not a big deal, they have enough seperation issues going on, so I never pushed it, as long as they are brushing their teeth and drinking out of a sippy some of the time, don't stress, eventually she will get rid if it. i never like time lines for anything, do what works for you!! My daughter is 3 and still has a bottle at night, she's a perfect little girl and just LOVES theat ba-ba.
