Heparin users come in
I still have about 6 weeks til I need it, but I don't want to wait til the last minute. Where did you get it? I called the CVS I use and they said "we don't think we can get it" well.....do you know you can't or should I speak to someone else. "No I asked the pharmacist and she doesn't think we can either" Once again does anyone know for sure......idiots! So now I'm just going to have to find somewhere else.

Re: Heparin users come in
If it is being filled through your insurance, it will be too early for the pharmacy to fill.
If not, the pharmacy by law may not be able to refill it too soon.
I have had this happen to me with various meds that are filled by insurance or I pay out of pocket.
Try Krupners, they might be more flexible

Re: Heparin users come in
I went to a place in Bayshore that told me they couldn't get it.....this was a pharmacy that I got my lovenox at and paniced when they told me that.
I went to 110 Pharmacy in Melville and they were great. They had to order it for me but it was in the next day.

I wasn't asking them to get it now, I was asking if they will be able to fill the Rx when I need it because I had heard some people were told they couldn't get it.
If I have to I will use Krupner's, thanks!

You can try Stuart's in Massapequa too. I always had a problem getting progesterone from CVS, but never an issue at Stuart's.
