At What Age Did You Start LO on Table Food
How old was your child when they started "table food"? My DD is 8 months old and starting to refuse bottles and jar food. The only thing she eats without giving us a fight is oatmeal, yogurt & rice. I started mixing her food into the oatmeal & rice, but if I mix too much she can tell and will then refuse it. I am going to call her pedi as well, but I figured it doesn't hurt to ask the LIF ladies as well  I usually always get great advice on here.

We started at 7 months, giving her tastes of what we were eating. Around 8 months she really wants to feed herself. So we do some purees and some table food. She isn't great at feeding herself (she likes to feed the dog) so I feel like if I can get a few spoonfuls in there the better.

6 months. She started solids at 4 months so by 6 months she was ready. She HATED any baby food with meat so we just gave her regular table food instead. She would eat meatballs, meatloaf, scrambled eggs (whole egg), pasta, shredded chicken, etc. Anything soft. She loved everything!

7 or 8 months for all of our kids. We never gave them baby foods.

Our ped said 7 months. So we started giving DD little tastes of things we are eating. She loves eating when we eat all together.

slowly around 7 months, much more around 8 months, she just turned 9 months yesterday and is refusing purees and all baby food. So she is on table food now. Its driving me crazy because she ate so good with the pureed stuff so now that she wants people food getting it to the right size and what she will eat is frustrating.

8.5 months. She started batting away the spoon for her purees. I started to give her little bits of food she liked in pureed form. She was a pro within two weeks.

DS1 Was 9 months when he was 90% on real table food.
DS2 only started developing a taste for table food at 9m.
