At what age did you start introducing table food?
When did you start giving little pieces of what you were eating or even like pastina. How did you know when DC was ready?

DD was 9 months and on all table food.
Once she mastered puffs and cheerios we moved onto pieces of bread, meatballs, cut up bananas, cut up pasta etc. Probably around 7 1/2-8 months

Same. DS just started to refuse to be spoon fed any pureed foods and wanted to eat on his own. It was his choice and doing, not mine. By 9 months, he was 100% on table food.
ETA: I made his cereal VERY thick so we was used to the texture. I would give him very small pieces of food. Eventually those pieces got bigger as he was able to "chew" (i.e. gum) them better.

i started solids at 6mos and not soon after that i was giving her table foods, i was trying a modified version of baby led weaning.

Thanks! DS will be 7 months. I don't think he is ready yet. I tried little pieces of puffs and he gags and gets upset and then refuses to try again. I think I need to start making his cereal thicker.

It was around 9 months. He had puffs from 5 1/2 months.
