Spinoff: When is your last day of work
When do you plan to have your last day of work before Baby gets here?

I was also wondering how people plan or predict this if they don't have a c section or induction date.
What I wish would happen if things would go as planned is:
My due date is April 10th (a tuesday).
My last day would be April 6th (the friday before).
My first day back would be Monday, July 2nd. Which would be perfect because I would only have two days at work and be off for july 4th.
Of course this is completely what I hope would happen. Many of my coworkers did work up until a few days or even a DAY before they went into labor.

With the boys, I worked in the morning and was admitted that afternoon.
This time, I plan to work until my schedule c/s.

This was me with both pregnancies. With #1, I worked until 40w3d and gave birth the next day. With #2, I worked till 41w1d, and gave birth the next day. I was actually sent home from work because I was in labor lol. I knew I was when I went to work that day, but I knew it was only early labor. If it were up to me, I would have stayed at work!

Im so happy im having a c section this time thats scheduled so i can plan. With my first my last day of work was December 7th and she didnt come until the 19th. I wasted so many days. This time Im scheduled for the 13th of February last day will be February 9th.

I'm due July 8th. We are closed the whole week before because of July 4th so I'm assuming my last day of work would be June 29th. Unless, I go early obviously.

for the ladies that plan on or have worked up until their due date, how did you "plan" it?
I'm trying to work out my maternity leave right now and all the paperwork asks for a date that you plan on starting your leave. The forms have to be filed 30 days in advance...So I'm not sure how to fill them out.
Just take a guess and hope for the best?

My due date is July 7th, after the 4th i plan to work from home until i go into labor. Unless ofcourse i go early.

Right now I plan on working up until my due date. But I may leave a week before depending on what my OB says because I have a long commute. We'll see, hopefully I can work until the end.

I plan on working for as long as I'm allowed to, so hopefully up to my due date, or until my water breaks or labor begins!

I was always one of those that said I will work and my water will break at work. But now at 35 weeks I am starting to feel drained, so I put in for a week vacay before my due date. Hopefully LO comes that week. If not it will be a nice break.

I work for a small bus so no paperwork for me. If I worked for a corp - I would put a week prior to my due date I guess. If you go past what you wrote down, do you get penalized?

I put the day before my due date - but, ended up working until the day after my due date since DS was late.
I called the disability provider the day after DS was born and they adjusted the start date of my leave accordingly.
ETA - I plan to work until the day before DC #2 is born. Thankfully my boss will let me work from home at the end (he doesn't want my water to break at work).

im working until feb 13 im due feb 14 with twins starting to get real hard to travel and move around so drs want me resting to try to keep them in aslong as possible

With DD, I worked up until the end, gave me more time to spend w/ baby and I got to carry over all the vacation I had saved.
With DC#2 I plan on doing the same.
