If you take vitamin D...how much do you take?
My Dr. suggested I take 5000mg of VitD. Does that seem like a lot? My reg. physician had only told me I needed to take 1000mg (this was a couple of years ago).

sorry to crash.. I was told to take 5k of vitamin d now and all throughout pregnancy by a high risk dr I'll be seeing once I am pregnant..........

i was taking 5000 then dropped down to 1000 (plus whatever is in my prenatals and calcium supps) in the middle of my second tri

I just found out I have low vitamin D so my doctor wants me taking 1000 once a day and also calcium 500 twice a day

i had asked my doctor if its OK if i take vitamin D, and she said its not necessary since i have it in my multi-vitamin...UGH..i feel like it helps with my immunity. Maybe i should be taking it.

when i went to the re yesterday the doc told me my vitamin d was low. she wanted me to try a new pre natal vitamin but when i looked it up it was almost the same as the OOT with the exception of the D so i just bought vitamin d 2000iu which was the amount that is in one my doc wanted me to get.
im bad at math so i have no idea how many mg that is
