How many times a day do you brush your 2 year old's teeth?
We do 2x/day morning and night (right before bed), but she fights it in the morning and it's almost not worth it. We brush really good at night before bed and she has no problem with it. Just wondering if I should skip the morning and avoid the fight or just keep at it... wdyd?

I only do it once a day in the am bc DS fights me no matter what u try. If us just not worth the fight more then once a day.

DS is 19 months, and we try to do twice a day as well. I wouldn't drop the morning, because she will get into the routine of doing it, even if she hates it. If you drop it, she may think it gone forever, and it willl become impossible to bring back!

Morning and night, she loves it. I got her an Elmo toothbrush and she opens right up for me. I let her pick our her latest toothbrush and has been trying to do it on her own lately.

2x a day morning/night
Some days it would be impossible to brush his teeth so I bough 2. I have one for him to hold/use on himself and one for me to use on him at the same time. This is the only way he will let me brush his teeth.

we are trying to do it twice a day but its like pulling teeth!!!! She puts up such a fight but the night time is alittle better

We brush twice a day and on occasion 3 times to me its worth a fight when you think about treating cavities on a kid that little. I don't have great teeth so its very important to me.

We brush DS teeth once a day, at night before bath.
He doesn't mind brushing his teeth so we should probably up it to the morning too. Just have to work it in our schedule.
He is 3.

Once a day at night, when he's in the bathtub. He actually asks for it. But he chews on the brush mostly, and I'll sneak in to do a good brushing while he's playing. The tub works, because he can't run away.

Only before bed...want to do it in the am but she is so thirsty I just always give the drink.
From what I have read, nighttime is the most crucial, since you dont swallow or drink at night, bacteria just sits there. So thats why I do it at night.

twice. and if he has raisins or other dried fruit during the day we brush them after that too. or at least I do.

DS is 14 months and we do it twice a day, sometimes 3x (he has all his teeth except 2yr molars). Once his canines broke through he stopped fighting me for the most part. Even at his worst with the fighting me, every other day I did 2x because it was such a fight, and the off days just 1x.

Twice a day - before school after those God awful smelly vitamins & before bed - usually while he's in the tub. He's all about brushing his teeth. Of course my teeth have never been cleaner because according to him we have to brush with him, so I brush 5 times a day sometimes.
