Lamaze/Birthing Classes
Just wondering if you ladies have taken/plan to take any birthing/lamaze/baby care classes?
Which ones have you taken/which would you recommend?
When did you take them?
Where did you take them?
How did you find out about them?

We haven't taken any classes yet but have registered for the First Time Parents class, Lamaze and Breasfeading classes held at our hospital (Good Sam).
ETA: We're taking them spaced out around 10 - 6 weeks before my due date. I got information about the classes from my OB.

I am taking a series of classes at Stony Brook starting next week. Week 1 is childbirth, Week 2 is breastfeeding and Week 3 is newborn care. They are free.

During my first pregnancy, I took a bunch of classes at New Baby Belly in Massapequa- LOVE them and I highly recommend them! We took Childbirth Ed, Breastfeeding, Infant/Child CPR, and I took prenatal yoga throughout my pregnancy.

I plan to take a child birthing class, breastfeeding class and possibly child care. Haven't decided where to take it yet!

im taking a childbirth prep class through Winthrop
its 3 classes, 2 hours each
they also offer BF classes, infant care classes that we may decide to take later but at the very least taking the childbirth prep so we know what to expect!
