11 month old and BITING!
My 11 month old DD is non-stop biting. Its terrible. When I hold her over my shoulder she bits me on my shoulder/arm, if she pulls up on the couch she bits my thigh! Im sitting on the couch, she's crawling, she bits my toe!! What is with this child?! I have bite marks all over and with 4 teeth, IT HURTS!
Whats bad is she bites other people too! Adults, other kids, she has a URGE to bite.
Is this normal? What do I do? I try to tell her NO! in a firm voice and she just LAUGHS! SHe has no clue lol. A couple if times I say NO! and tap her mouth, still nothing.
Any advice for me and my little vampire?

YES
DD has been doing this for a while now.
I tried yelling, tapping her mouth
What seems to work the best is just putting her down and walking away.
She still does it when she is tired though, and she is teething
It has calmed down a lot - I cant wait until this phase is OVER

Ok I never tried just putting her down and walking away... I will try that, hopefully it works! Thank you!!

Re: 11 month old and BITING!
My 12 month old is a biter pincher. He does the same as your DD when I hold him. He bites my shoulders, my toes, legs.
When he does it I tell him NO! and stop playing with him, he stops but then he will do it again later on. While it's gotten better he still does it and I am still working on the right technique.

Re: 11 month old and BITING!
DS started at 9 months. I just move his mouth or block my knee/shoulder/etc with my hand so he can't bite while saying no. (kind of like walking away without the walking. lol) he's almost completely stopped unless he's overstimulated or tired. But then i really can't blame him.

Re: 11 month old and BITING!
dd did the same thing. now shes almost 14m and is almost done with biting. I thought the worst. just watch her and give her things to bite .
i also did the loud sound that i did with teaching our dog when she was a puppy not to bite . seemed to work.
