How often do you & DH go out? (SEE OHER EDITED POST)

My DH & I have not been out for a dinner/movie or anything like that since February 25th...I'm looking into finding a sitter so my mom doesn't always have to be the one (she watching my DD everyday). I mentioned this to my mom and that we really want some alone time because of how long it's been and she responded with:

"Well, that's what happens when you have a baby!"

Now I feel guilty for this, but I really don't think it's that unreasonable. What's your situation like?

we're lucky my parents live very close and my IL's love to come and visit for the weekend... my MIL even wants me to go out so she can spend alone time with DS. FUnny thing is he goes to sleep at 7 so we usually leave after anyway.

Lately it's been once a month or longer. We try more, but I'm about 9 months prego now so really not up for going out. We are going out this Fri to celebrate my SIL's engagement and my parents are watching DS.

DH and I try to go out, but depends on things. The winter was so bad so really not up for going out. Now we try, but I'm just beat. He went out with the guys Sat night and I passed out early watching RHW's LOL

Usually once a month DH and I go out alone. Luckily my parents, 2 sisters, and inlaws all live half hour away and they jump at the chance to watch DD since she is in Daycare all week.

In two years, I think it's been half a dozen times.

Not enough but it's difficult. Especially working full time I feel like that is my time with her too.

ds is 7 months and I work full time so I have no interest in going out alone with DH yet
