Spent most of my weekend at Mercy L&D
Not sure if you all are on parenting board, but First my son goes to Winthrop for 2 days at 18 mos old b/c he is wheezing. We get him better and home but still on the nebulizer and I go back to work and Thursday night start having contractions. Apparently having your son in the ER at 33 1/2 weeks is stressful enough to start pre-term labor. So fast forward to me getting to spend Thursday night thru today in Mercy! So not fun spending mulitiple days hooked up to monitors. Had to have procardia to stop or at least slow contractions. I am still closed. But my fetal frenectin test came back positive which is some indication of a 1 in 7 chance that baby will come in next week or two. So had to have steroids for baby's lungs in case it does come early. I am home now thank goodness but still on procardia and bed rest. Holy cow. I had no idea how easy we had it with the first two pregnancies! They were so simple and routine.
