Other than MLSLI, where can I look....
at listings?? DH and I want to buy this year so I try to keep up with the market, what's out there, what things are selling for, etc. I spend a ton of time on MLSLI but I don't see a lot of new listings...I feel like I am seeing the same houses I saw when I would take a peek last summer! Anyone have any other sites you found useful/helpful/updated frequently??

If a home is listed (with a realtor), it is going to be on MLSLI, unless the listing real estate company is keeping it as an exclusive. But even if a house is originally an exclusive, it usually eventually goes on MLS (if the listing company doesn't sell it). Most of the other real estate sites out there feed off of MLS, so if it's on one of those sites, it's also on MLS.
Of course, there are homes that are not listed with a realtor, but are "for sale by owner." If you want to go that route, which I DO NOT recommend for a variety of reasons, you should look on sites such as www.fsbo.com, www.forsalebyowner.com, craig's list (by owner postings), etc.

We had luck with redfin.com. It shows how long the house has been listed, the last sale price of the house (if it was recent), and it also lists every time the price of the house was adjusted. You can also view recently sold houses, which helps when you're trying to determine comparable prices in the area.

In addition to those, I'm also using trulia.com and zillow.com
I take all the info with a grain (no wait, a HUGE BIG PILE) of salt, I don't depend on the info as far as home "value" etc. But as mentioned they give slightly differing "cuts" of the info pulled from MLS, including tax rates and schools!

I find that redfin is best, but trulia shows all the private listings that are not turned over to MLS
