Favorite book of all time
Which would you say is your favorite book?
I am looking for something to read after I finish my current book, Water for Elephants, which I love!!

The Hotel New Hampshire- John Irving
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn- Betty Smith
Outlander- Diana Gabaldon
The Bronze Horseman- Paullina Simons
The World According to Garp- John Irving
OK, that was 5. I don't care.
And if you liked Water For Elephants, you will probably like John Irving. Same symbolism, recurring themes, etc.

i LOVE John Irving. Loved A Prayer for Owen Meany and Hotel New Hampshire. My favorite character in that book was Egg!

Stephen King - Salem's Lot
But I really do LOVE the Boleyn/Tudor series by Philipa Gregory, as well as her Wideacre Trilogy.

Wuthering Heights. I lover this book. The main characters are absolutely horrible human beings - but the love story is more genuine than any I've ever read.
And A Ring of Endless Light - it's a YA coming of age story by Madelaine L'Engle. I read it when I was a teenager and it became my anthem. I loved that book like I can't even begin to tell you.
