Wuthering Heights. I lover this book. The main characters are absolutely horrible human beings - but the love story is more genuine than any I've ever read.
And A Ring of Endless Light - it's a YA coming of age story by Madelaine L'Engle. I read it when I was a teenager and it became my anthem. I loved that book like I can't even begin to tell you.
I'm with you on both of these but especially A Ring of Endless Light. Anyone who loves Madeleine L'Engle like I do makes me smile. I think she'll always be my favorite author of all time (and I STILL love this book.)
