Kitchen Cabinets?
Can anyone recommended a place for kitchen cabinets? Maybe a place that has a show room just so I can get some ideas? Thanks!

consumers has great displays BUT I don't reccomend buying from them. a few people told me to be careful because of one scam the pull and I thought I was good. I realized today they scammed me too 
thankfully it is small but it just makes me nuts that companies get away with this!!
I will be making a claim to the BBB on them.

yikes.. we got our stuff from them 2 years ago and i thought we got great service and a fair price compared to HD and Lowes

Yeah I have never heard of them scamming. My parents have used them 3 times and I used them for my kitchen. I had no issues

Same here. We used them for our kitchen and had a great experience with them. I have highly recommended them to friends as well.

Besides Ikea where can you get decent cabinets for low prices? The places I went want over $10000 for 35 feet of cabinets compared to $7000 from Consumers (and HD but lower quality).

I get a bunch of FM's and I know 3 people IRL that this happened to and its just more of a PIA then a problem
they show you your layout and it includes all these molding and extra things
when they price quote you its without that stuff
we did under the cabinet lighting and really needed the under the counter molding. we stressed this every time we went.
we also added in a silverware tray for around $200 that is 2 tiered and holds a lot
everything came to the house minus that stuff
when I called he said, oh well I probably switched stuff around in your plan a little and forgot to put it back in
now it’s another 6-8 weeks before I can get the molding and I'm not getting the silverware thing over principal, they can lose the $
other than that though, I have to say it wasn't all that bad of an experience. but you have to ask for filler pieces and ask for kick pieces. they don't just give you that stuff (even though you’re willing to pay for it) and that was the complaint of everyone I spoke to so I thought I covered everything but he took the items off
I really think the game with them is to give you the lowest price possible so you buy with them, when sometimes you don't need it to be cheap. I was willing to pay for everything. we didn't give them a budget or anything so it’s frustrating

Filler and kick pieces? You should not have to ask for those. That's very deceiving.

Filler and kick pieces? You should not have to ask for those. That's very deceiving.
I guess it depends on who is designing your kitchen. Maybe the person you had was inexperienced? We did not have this problem with the guy we used there. We also made sure everything was on the invoice before we signed it for submission for them to submit the order, as he advised us to do.

I used Consumers and had a great experience. The guy I worked with was very honest when I told him I wanted crown molding and under the cabinet molding. He kept telling me the increase each time I added something. He was even trying to discourage me from some of the extras (garbage can, utensil drawer, sponge drawer), but I really wanted them!

we loved HD but their price was a lot more for the same cabinets
turns out they price match I had no idea. the people at HD were SOOOO much better to work with. they don't make commission so they aren't pushy. Wish I knew they priced matched we would have given them the sale in a heartbeat.

I got custom cabinets cheaper than what HD quoted us for Thomasville. We used Dynamic Kitchens(a vendor on here). They have a small showroom but it gives you an idea and you can see and feel their quality. All of the draw inserts, gabage pails, spice racks, super susan were included in the price.
