fluoride in water
My Ped said that it was never necessary for me to boil water before making a bottle. Does anyone know if boiling water kills the fluoride?

Re: fluoride in water
Fluoride is not a bacteria that can be killed with boiling. If you live in Nassau or Suffolk, there is no fluoride in the water anyway.

I'm in queens so I guess I'll just give it to him straight from the tap.

May I suggest filtering it with a filter first? You never know how old the pipes are and what is in them. But the filter won't take out the fluoride.
Just make sure the ped doesn't also give you vitamins with fluoride. Too much can hurt them.

Re: fluoride in water
Thanks for the filtering suggestion. It didn't even cross my mind. Now we have to get a filter asap.
