If you have the Chicco KeyFit Travel System
Sorry to crash but I need some advice from you BTDTs please
If you have the Chicco Keyfit Travel System- are you happy with the stroller part of it? I love it but I am a little nervous that it is heavy/bulky.

Re: If you have the Chicco KeyFit Travel System
I have it and yes, I'm happy with the stroller. I love the console (cup holder and storage compartment). BUT if I had to do it all over again, I would've gotten a snap n go for the carseat and got a really nice lightweight stroller. They make really nice cup holders and compartment things that attach to a regular stroller. The Chicco tends to be bulky and takes up a lot of room in my trunk. I don't mind the weight, but the size is what's bothering me.

no i hate the stroller. i don't find it heavy, and i prefer jogger type strollers which are heavier. i hate how it handles, the wheels, the canopy.

thanks ladies- I was afraid that it will take up too much room in my trunk and it sounds like it will!

Love it! Never used the stroller with the carseat. Get the Snap and Go. Soooo worth it!!! We didn't use the stroller till he was 8 - 9 months b/c we used the snap and go for so long.
I use the MacClaren stroller mostly unless we're shopping I'll use the chicco stroller.
The carseat is the best. DS sat in it till 9 months comfortably.

Re: If you have the Chicco KeyFit Travel System
I LOVED this stroller, then after DD was here and I had to push and cart it around it is way to heavy and bulky. I did like the cup holder feature but never use it at all..I bought the mcclearen. Im getting the Baby Jogger City select as a double stroller and agree the jogging strollers seem better IMHO

I have it and liked it a lot but agree with previous posters that it is heavy and takes up a lot of room.
I did love using it though b/c it has such a smooth ride and great storage space. I have a city mini now which I really love.

I love it for longer walks, not for short periods of time. It definitely is a much more comfortable stroller for the baby, so if I know she will be in it for a while, I take it. Otherwise, I have the Chicco lightweight.

Re: If you have the Chicco KeyFit Travel System
I like the stroller alot. I used it alot with DS while on leave when i would go on walks. It folds easily, the basket underneath is nice and i find it comfy to use.
However, it does take up room in our trunk..like the whole trunk. we have a matrix that has a hatch so the trunk is smaller than normal. But we bought a $50 liteweight stroller to take with us to stores and stuff thats pretty good. still takes up my trunk, so it really must be my trunk thats small.
overall, im very happy with it.

Re: If you have the Chicco KeyFit Travel System
I do like the stroller for "big" events- like trips to the zoo or the mall. It has a huge basket underneath, a snack tray and cup holders. So its good for all day events. But for quick trips in and out of places or short trips to the park, I had to buy another stroller (the Combi). It is sooooo light and folds up ridiculously small. The Chicco is HUGE and takes up my whole Corolla trunk. So 2 strollers works for us.

I love it! The stroller is a bit big, but we use that for walks to the park and stuff like that.

Re: If you have the Chicco KeyFit Travel System
I don't think it's too heavy and in general I like it however, the storage basket is IMPOSSIBLE to get to when you have the infant seat snapped in. You literally have to take out the infant seat and move the seat up to get to your stuff. That was a real PITA! I also find that compared to the Graco the seat in the stroller doesn't really allow my DD to sit up perfectly straight. It always has a little recline to it. It drove her insane so I started only snapping her in with the lap portion of the belt as she got older so she could lean forward more. Overall I like my Chicco and it's really been good except for those 2 little annoyances.

I have the car seat.
I hated everythign about the stroller so I didn't get it.
instead we used the car seat with Maclaren's version of the snap and go. LOVED it. so easy to use.
for a stroller, we got the peg perego Si.
we have the chicco capri as a lightweight.
