Sergio's in Massapequa
Has anyone been there for a party? I'm thinking of DS's 1st. Do you know if the room can hold 100 people? The guy on the phone said yes, but who knows if he's telling the truth.

Re: Sergio's in Massapequa
I went there a couple of years ago and the food was good. It was Valentine's Day though and they had the tables packed in there. I'm not sure if it could comfortably hold 100 people. Maybe you could just stop by there and check.

Re: Sergio's in Massapequa
We had the twin's Christening there. Has he taken down the wall in the middle??? He told me last year he was planning on doing that. If so, yes, it can hold 100 people. If that wall is still there, he's probably saying, sure , it will hold 100 but that's between the 2 rooms! You'll have a wall seperating your party. No way just one room can hold 100. We had 60 in the bigger room and it was TIGHT! He told me the bigger room could hold even more! That's impossible.
But, the food was amazing and the service was great.

Re: Sergio's in Massapequa
I had my thank you/rehearsal dinner there in 2007. There is no way that either of the rooms can hold 100 people. I think we (between 2 parties) had 40/50 people in one room and that was a tight squeeze. I haven't been there since 2008 but if the wall in the middle was taken down it could work... would still be tight though.
The food is so good, and the owner is so nice, that I'd cut my guest list to go back there

Re: Sergio's in Massapequa
I've been to a party there, only in one of the rooms but it was TIGHT! He also told her that he would fit everyone comfortably, and it wasn't.
I would def. check it out. I think 80 is more realistic for both rooms personally

Re: Sergio's in Massapequa
If its just the back room then NO. We had DS's christening party there, food was amazing, but we had like 60 or so people ...maybe 70 and it was PACKED, and I didnt like how hard it was to move. I would max that room out at 50 IMO.
