Girls who had belly button piercing
When you took it out, did you use rubbing alcohol on the area? I just want to make sure it's okay to use it.
I'm planning to take mine out soon before my skin starts to stretch. I'm not interested in a pregnancy bar--I'm just going to let it close up.

I took it out before my belly got too big and I clean it a few times a week with alcohol
I hope this doesn't happen to you but mine is DISGUSTING. It is pink all the time and totally stretched out so you can see the INSIDE of the hole. It is always shiny and dirty looking too for some reason, absolutely nasty. I feel like crying every time I see it.
It has stretched out to be wider than my belly button. I am not that big AND I have no stretch marks yet.

I never put alcohol or anything on the hole. I just clean it as I normally clean my belly in the shower. Like Tilde, mine is stretched out and disgusting looking, but everything went back to normal after pregnancy #1. The hole did not close up and I put the ring in a few weeks after having the baby.

Thanks ladies. Yikes! I've been dreading taking it out because I fear I'll be grossed out at what it looks like, but that's great to know that it went back to normal after your pregnancy.

For the first time ever, I am regretting the decision to get mine pierced at 18

i did clean it out with alcohol right around when I was 6 months with Adriano. I never put anythign abck since and it has not closed! I don't think it ever will. I had it done when I was 15 so I had it for over 17 years before I took it out. You might have it forever too.

I have had mine since 18 (10 years) and when I took it out a few months ago it wasnt too nasty looking. It's clearly a HOLE, and it also kinda looks dirty no matter what I clean it with uuughhh, but it hasnt stretched yet. Then again I havent gotten too big yet either! Time will tell... Thats pretty awesome that some of you got yours back in post-PG!!! Now when I go to the beach my belly button looks naked  and i totally got a bit of a sunburn inside my belly button
