cruise question with 18 mos old

So hopefully we're booking a cruise soon. DD will be 18 mos, it's a choice between a Princess cruise leaving from NY or a Royal Caribbean cruise leaving from NJ...Princess charges the same amt for DD as an adultChat Icon and Royal is a lot more expensive but charges less for DD...so it sort of evens out a bit, but Royal is still a bit more...
We've cruised Princess before and we liked it, didn't love it...for those that have cruised with Royal Caribbean before, did you love it? Also if you've cruised with a child before how was it????

Re: cruise question with 18 mos old

I have only been on one cruise and it was with RC. We LOVED it!!!

You may want to check each ship's policy on toddlers in the pool. For some reason I didn't think kids in diapers were allowed in them (but I could be wrong).

Re: cruise question with 18 mos old

We are going to cruise with RC Explorer of the Seas out of NJ in June.

They don't allow children not potty trined in the pools but I am bringing swim diapers anyway...

WE have heard from friends who have took children on this boat in particular that it was so kid friendly and the kids loved it...

We are so excited to go!!!

That is the one we are going on-June 24th-July 3rd. They don't have a kiddie pool but I think they have a sprinkler park.

IF you do plan on it let me know-- I am hoping JAcob will go to camp when we are on ship but Chloe will be with me..
