Cruise with a 7 month old
So we are leaving saturday for an 8 day cruise with DD. Any tips/suggestions?? I am a little worried about her naps are going to since she is a "put down" for a nap baby and I dont' plan on going back to our room to get her to nap. She also sleeps in her own room, so the sharing a room thing should be interesting. But I know I am not the first person to take an infant on vacation, so obviously it all works out, but just curious if anyone could share their experiences and what worked/didn't work for them. Thanks!!

Re: Cruise with a 7 month old
We cruised when DS was 8 months old.
I'm going to be honest and say it was very hard, BUT I think that was in part due to the fact that we went between Christmas and New Year's and the ship was at capacity.
We had a lot of fun, but it was a lot more work than we thought it was going to be....
What are your ports of call?

We are going with my parents and brother, so we will have a few sets of extra hands. Hopefully that will help. We are going to Bermuda, St Thomas, St Kitts, & Antigua. We then fly home from Puerto Rico, so I am sure that will be fun as well.

Don't get me wrong, you will have fun, its just the pools don't allow babies, the babysitting and kids clubs start at 1 and 2 (or 3) respectively, etc, etc.
But DS did really well at dinners, etc.
OH and make sure to pack enough formula nad diapers b/c they have NADA on the ship
