CBEFM.....

So this is my first month using it. Because it's the first I jumped from the low low to the ovulation status. skipping the high. Which i heard is common.

2 days I had the ovulation symbol, followed by 1 day of high fertile status. Then it was low status for the past 2 days now.

My question is this.... why does it still ask me to test after I ovulated?? I feel like I am wasting sticks? should I still test anyway because it's asking me? It is that it's just getting used to me? IDK. What do you ladies think???

Re: CBEFM.....

Hmmm. It shouldn't be asking u for sticks after the 2 peak and 1 high day. How many days past the last high are you?

Re: CBEFM.....

i never even turn mine on again after my peak days. Chat Icon i figure if it asks for sticks it's just a waste since my reading will be low. i hope i haven't been doing it wrong!! i'm curious to hear other people's experiences too!

Re: CBEFM.....

It asks for sticks in groups of 10. Therefore, if you get your peak reading on the 11th day it asked you for a stick, its' going to ask you for 9 more sticks regardless. But, yes, once you get that first peak reading, it goes into auto mode; it will give you another peak reading, followed by a high reading, followed by more low readings. You can just stop turning it on after you get your peak reading until it's time for the next month or you can turn it on and ignore it's request for a test stick if you just want to see what CD it is! Hope this helps.

my O days were thurs and fri. My high day was sat. And sun and today is low.

it asked me for a stick today and yesterday. I turned it on today to see what it would say... thinking it wouldn't ask for a stick... but it did.

Re: CBEFM.....

The first month I used it, it made me use 20 sticks, and I read something in the manual that said the first month you use it, it will ask for 20 days to get used to your cycle. I felt the same way about wasting the sticks after I O'd, but i kept doing it until it stopped.

OK so I'm not the only one... and my machine isn't broken! YAY!!!

Then the next cycle... it asks for 10 sticks right? And it stops asking for sticks after you O??

You are definitely not the only one and I thought the same thing, the 2nd cycle it should just ask for 10 sticks, but I'm not 100% sure b/c I didn't have to use it for another cycle

Re: CBEFM.....

It's so funny, I told DH that it keeps asking for sticks so the company makes more $$.
