People can be rude
Today at work someone said to me that i looked like i put the pounds on.. Ok i might have put some weight on but not that much! I guess i better work harder at the gym to get these pounds off.  Just wanted to vent.

That is rude. It has happened to me at my job. Not everyone in the world is skinny and people need to get over it. I used to get upset about it but just ingore them maybe they hate themselves and have nothing better to do then bring others down.

I seriously do not understand why people think it's anything but rudeness to make a comment on someone physical features.
Things like eat a burger, are you sure you should eat those fries, you got some new padding for the winter?, etc...
Beyond rude!!!

She said that because she is feeling down about herself. Whether it's weight related or she is not happy with something in her life she feels the need to bring you down too.
I am sorry this person felt the need to comment on something so personal. I really don't like when people comment about weight in general...whether its up or down I never want to hear it.
Good luck with the gym, you have made such a wondeful lifestyle change.

Ugh that is so mean! If one of my co-workers ever said that to me that would be the last conversation we have. Did you say anything back? You need to stick up for yourself so people like this won't say anything again. So sorry this happened.
