I definatly think bedrooms should be carpeted. Hardwood is cold in my mind.

I have hardwood floors through out my house, except for the bedrooms. IMO I like carpet in the bedroom its gives off a warmer feeling.

LOVE plush carpeted bedrooms and stairs. We have hardwood throughout but opted for area rugs in the bedrooms and a runner on the stairs and 2nd floor hallway. Although cozy as is, regretting not adding carpeting.

I have hardwood in the house but carpet in the bedrooms. I think it feels more cosy.
Ditto, I hate getting up in the morning and walking on a cold floor!  But I feel like hardwood floors definitely look better.
