Anyone have wide plank (5") hardwood floors? Please post a pic if you do!
We decided on 5" maple planks and (of course) now I am wondering if that is too wide. 
We have the standard 2 1/4" in the kitchen.
Anyone have pictures? Thanks.

the wider the plank, the more of a chance of warping....my dh always recom.smaller width....although the 5" does look pretty! hth!

I don't have a picture and my wood floors aren't that wide. (I think they are 2.25") I do, however, think the 5" wood is so beautiful.

Ours are 3" but my friend has the 5" in Brazilian Cherry and they look amazing.

We got 4 inch wide planks
I am really happy with them
The cost to go to 5 inch was a huge jump in price and since we had to do the 1st and 2nd floor in wood we went with 4 inch.
We have red oak floors and stained them special walnut

I'm having trouble with shutterfly so I can't access all of my pictures but this is one of our guest rooms with 6" planks

Beautiful floors.  Thanks for sharing.
The wood is getting delivered tomorrow so it's too late for me to change my mind anyway.  I'm a little worried about warping but hopefully that won't happen. I cannot wait for this project to be DONE!!!!
