Does ovulating late cause your LP to be shorter?
I ovulated the latest I ever have and my LP was cut short even on meds so I was just wondering if this is what could have happened? We've also been stressed this past week. We just moved this past weekend and that's when AF showed up 2 days early.

are you definite about the day that you O'd? Maybe it was earlier?

maybe the stress brought AF earlier than normal then... I would wait and see what happens next month

If you normally have a normal LP, ovulating later should not cause it to be shorter.

If you normally have a normal LP, ovulating later should not cause it to be shorter.
I agree. I O late and my LP is 12 days.

Well, before taking Prometrium, my LP was only 9 days. My doctor had me take the Prometrium and I've been taking that for 4 months. The first 3 months my LP was exactly 12 days, it was wonderful. Then this month, it was 10 days.  I just don't know if I just had too much going on and my body just ignored the med or the meds aren't working?
So, basically my LP on my own is very short. Now I don't know what to do? I just don't O that late normally so I didn't know if that could be why?
