Nursery Closets
If you are done with your nursery closet, can you post pics or let me know if they are in your album? I want to show DH different things so we can decide what we want.
Also ,BTDT moms - would you have done your nursery closets differently? - More/less hanging space, more drawers, more open shelves, etc?
Thanks!

Re: Nursery Closets
I have open shelves and hanging organizer that we put in DDs.
If I could do it differently, I would have wanted MORE hanging space and longer spaces to hang.
I will post a pic when I get a chance.

Re: Nursery Closets
We have a small hall closet for our DD, so we have two bars for hanging clothes (one on the top, one underneath) and a shelf on top of both of those (with about 2 feet of height). We have a lot of storage in her room however (tall dresser and long dresser) so I hang her "fancy" clothes and clothes that aren't the right size for her yet and rotate in the onesies, pants, jeans, socks, etc. that are the correct size for her as she grows. On the shelf above the bars I store her shoes (in a large box), her official paperwork, hats, and other misc. items. On the floor are additional blankets, towels, etc.

Re: Nursery Closets
This exactly how we have DD#1's closet set up (courtesy of the previous owners)
But, DD#2 has a TINY closet. Right now we have 2 bars and a shelf, but I want to see more ideas as well.

Re: Nursery Closets
This is ours... it's way more organized now with new baskets, bins, etc. but you can see the shelving & drawers we have. I love the layout.

Re: Nursery Closets
for those with drawers and non-hanging storage in the closets, do you also have a dresser in the room or do these closet areas suffice?

We also have a dresser with 3 large drawers (pics in my Nursery album). The drawers in the closet I use for bibs, hats, bigger clothes that I don't use yet and towels/sheets. Her dresser has all her onesies, sleepers, pants, etc.

Re: Nursery Closets
Here is our DD's closet. I use the drawers for hats, sheets, blankets, bibs etc. The rest of her day to day clothes - onsies, undershirts, pjs etc., are in her dresser which we use as a changing table. I hang her fancier clothes, outfits, and stuff that's too big still.
