Question?
I think this possibly should go on TTC but since you guys were successful when is the best time during your cycle to conceive? I know nothing about this stuff so please speak in simple terms

When you are ovulating. That tends to be the best time. Really the only time. It is around the middle of your cycle.

I agree only tricky part is that not everyone ovulates in the middle of their cycle

First day of your period. Ends the first day of your next period and that becomes the first day of your next cycle.

If you go on the TTC board the first thread is soooo helpful with all your questions.
But a usual cycle is 28 days and a Usual ovulation is 14 days after the start of your period. But everyone is different. you'd have to track it using and Ovulation kit.

try getting the ovulation prediction kits at cvs they have ones with 20 strips( dont get the ones with only 7) then on day 6 or 7 start using them to see when you ovulate. then the next 24-48 hours is the best time to try and concieve.
If you have a regular cycle these shold work very well ( same length period every month) you can also buy a basal thermometer and start takng your temp every morning starting day 1 of your cycle.(day 1 is the 1st day of your period)
they sell them at cvs also for like 10$

Def. buy the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" its a great book and I bought this when I knew nothing.... it really teaches you a lot.
Best time to get pregnant is when you are ovulating and a good way to figure it out is to use OPks. Good luck!!!!
