window treatment help!

I have never shopped for window treatments, and honestly, they make my head hurt! I have no clue what I want, and I need help. A few questions:

Where did you get your window treatments? The only place I know is Blinds to Go.

What is a typical price for decent (not extravagant, not cheap) treatments?

Could you please show me pictures of your bow or bay window treatments, as well as your bedroom? We have double casements in our bedroom.

Our style is pretty much transitional, on the contemporary side.

TIA!!

Jackie.. try JC Penney, they have TONS of stuff.

Also try Googling some window treatment/curtain/bay window images and see what you get - you might find some decent ideas that you can then price out.

pricing really depends on what style, the material and how many you are getting, and if you have to have custom sizes pieces or can get stock sizes.

You know the wood roman shade blinds we have in our living room? those were about $75 each (according to the previous owners). I think thats on the higher side, but i'm not totally sure.

We got simple roman shades for our kitchen from Lowes i think, and those were $30 each.
So the pricing can range a lot.

Curtains can vary immensely too - from $30-$100 a panel depending on size/fabric

good luck.. its such a hard thing to figure out!
