did i O (basal temp related)
DS decided to wake up earlier or numerous times per night the last week so the time i take my temp is not always at the same time (7:30am).
got +opk on wed (cd11) so i think i O'd on either friday or sat. my temp the last few days:
fri cd13 - 96.9 (took at 6am)
sat cd14 - 97.9 (took at 5am)
sun cd15 - 97.6 (at 6:30); 98.5 (at 9am)
mon cd16 - 97.? (at 6:30); 98.1 (7:30)
the 2 different time is when ds woke me up, took my temp and went back to sleep while DH took care of DS. woke up again and took the 2nd temp.
so should i go with the 1st or 2nd temp taken on CD15 and CD16?
any idea if i O'd or not

I'm in the same boat as you - my temp always depends on when DS wakes up! I would take the first temp and I would say that you definitely O'd - probably on CD13.

i thought so too but then i see that CD15 and CD16, the temp is normal so i'm not sure anymore.

CD13 temp was 96.9, then the rest were all 97.6 and higher. I usually get a .4 or .5 increase in my temps when I O, and you had more than that.

By any chance are you charting your temps using an online site such as (the free) fertilityfriend.com? If you are, it will analyze the temperature changes for you.
Also, you have to use a temperature after a solid 3 hours of sleep. I would go with the first set of temps on the days that you woke up more than once.
Do you have the temps prior to CD13/friday? If so, post those.
Based on SOLELY the temperatures above (note, the temps before cd13 would help much more in determining), I would say you O'd CD13.
Temp will usually rise at least .4 degrees after you O and stay elevated. You had much more than .4 degree jump on CD14/Saturday, and it stayed high (it doesn't have to stay at the same exact number) for the next 3 days, so as long as your numbers prior to CD13 were close to the CD13 temp, then I 'd say you O'd on CD13!

im new to temping and dont really experience drastic time changes in when i take it - BUT from everything i read it does look like you had a thermal shift.

Fertilityfriend.com is a great source. I would use that to chart and help you figure it all out.

I'm pretty sure that when you chart basal temps, you're supposed to take it at as close to the same time each day as possible...which means setting your alarm on the weekends so that you take it at the same time as you do during the week.
Taking your temp at those two different times could kind of be messing with you chart (and your head!!!)...i know that i've had wacky charts, and i think it's because i don't test at the same time each day.
