Sorry - another sand and water table question
Is it realistic to assume that you always have the table filled with sand and the other with water? Or does that become a complete mess with little kids?
Or do you either have one or the other? Is it a PITA to take the sand out to put all water in?

Re: Sorry - another sand and water table question
we got a handmedown one from neighbors for my mother's house. i'm not into sand, so we plan to only use water like we do with her water table at home. when we got it it was filled with sand...dry sand on one side and wet sand on the other. it was a bit of work to clean it out, but it wasn't terrible. you should change the sand out each year or it can get gross.

Re: Sorry - another sand and water table question
I only have sand in mine. Last year we tried sand on one side, water on the other -- and neither side won. Since we got a sink from Ale's b-day from some wonderful friends, I just use sand in this table now -- and yes it's a mess but she loves it.
