What to ask?

So I am going to be calling very soon to set up a TTC consultation with my ob/gyn. I have questions about prenatals and genetic testing, but what else do I ask about? Can anyone give me some info? Thanks.

Unless your experiencing any problems you think they would need to know, I think asking about prenatals is a great start!

I hadn't talked to my OB about TTC, but when I went on thursday she was excited, and gave me a script for prenatals, otherwise she just told us to have fun

I would talk about the prenatals and genetic testing.

I also had my OB GYN check my titer levels for immunity against certain diseases...otherwise they will want to give you some vaccines prior to pregnancy.

"Vaccinations are an important concern for pregnant women. Get needed vaccines before pregnancy. CDC has clear guidelines for the use of vaccines during pregnancy. Review the list and be sure to discuss with your doctor."

i asked my GYN about TTC and she just recommended multi vitamins. Now i am wondering what questions I should be asking since I am not so young and getting preggo may be harder? What do these pre pregnancy tests do for you? what are the vaccines?
