AF issues :(
Is this normal?
I stopped BC at the end of January and went for about 50 days before my first cycle (March). My next cycle was 29 days (April). I am on 32 days now and nothing :( I thought I was in the clear when I got it last month after stopping :( TIA

Unfortunately, this is very normal. It can take a few months for AF to get regular after stopping BCP. Hang in there

I stopped the Nuva Ring in August and have not been regular since the 1st month after coming off of it. I ranged from 28 - 39 days so far.
My Dr. said that it can take up to a year for most women to fall back into a regular cycle. He said that the cycle overall isn't as important as a steady # of days for an LP.

Hang in there!! Took me 52 days to get AF after coming off BCP and now I am on my second cycle hoping that it will come within normal range.

Totally normal. If you are concerned check with you OB...The same thing happened to me after BC and then again after I stopped nursing.

It stinks b/c I want to TTC this summer and if AF isn't regular, I don't think I can :( If I knew that BC was so bad for my body, i would NEVER have started it! : (

I went off in September and my cycles had been crazy up until March. Just these last two months I feel like they are leveling out. Im still not completely where I was pre-pill... I think I am one of those girls that will take the entire year to regulate. Its very frustrating when ttc.

crashing, but BC isn't necessarily bad for your body and you can ABSOLUTELY start TTC before AF comes. Just because AF hasn't arrived doesn't mean you aren't ovulating. I was on BC for years before having DS and got pregnant right after going off the pill having never gotten AF. The only thing not getting AF does before you get pregnant is give you an accurate conception date, which in the end doesn't mean much at all because you'll get an estimated due date (EDD) from your OB after a sonogram which is what they'll go by anyway. So go ahead and start TTC whenever you'd like.  Good Luck!!

This is great news! I am new at this and come on this board so that when I TTC this summer I am educated, but I am wondering if there is a way for me to figure out when I am ovulating if AF hasn't come yet. TIA!
