Something on my mind regarding the words "I'm pregnant" (which, ftr, I'm not!)

Part of me is so anxious to utter the words "I'm pregnant." to my family when the time comes. We've been married almost 5 years, but still, the thought of sayinig those words brings me back to feeling like I'm 14 and "in trouble". Please tell me I'm not the only one. Chat Icon

That's how I feel when I buy HPTs. I feel like the people at the checkout are judging me Chat Icon

OMG 2 months ago I went to CVS and got a pregnancy test... and the cashier looks at me and says "I hope you have a nice day" and then says on the DL "it'll be okay" Chat Icon so I said "yeah I know, I'm married!"

Hahahah! I thought i was the only one that thought this way. And my mom is always asking when the grandkids are coming. I still feel like when i say the words "i'm pregnant" that i will be introuble or something.

Chat Icon Chat Icon I feel the same way, but more so about HPT's. I am always so nervous when I buy them at the store that I have to buy something else with them, you know, to throw the cashier off or something. Chat Icon Chat Icon

I feel the same way. I just started talking to my mom about TTC and it feels a little weird.

I was so nervous to tell my Dad when I was pg with DS! I was embarrassed - how silly is that! And I was 29 and married for 4 years!

You are definitely not alone...I think it would feel weird to say those words too. I don't even like to say that "I'm trying to get pregnant" (so I don't normally say it to anyone, but I had to say it to my doctor the other day...lol).
