Did your baby ever cross his/her eyes?
Did anyone eles's baby do this, when did it start and end if you recall? I don't mean eyes that simply "look" crossed but aren't. I mean eyes crossing when the baby tries to focus on something.

Do you recall when it started? What I find so odd is DD never did this and just started doing it at 2.5 mths. The pediatrician noticed, and since then, she is doing it so much more (or I am looking for it more?). Thing is, ped sent her to the eye dr to be sure and he didn't find anything wrong. But I forgot to ask him why would it just start at 2.5 mths, when it's supposed to stop happening around 3 or 4 mths according to everything I read?

DS started doing it when he could see better - around 2 months maybe? he still does it occasionally but much less now, he is 5 months old.
he did it a LOT from 2-4 months, i never worried or asked my ped b/c i googled and everything i saw said he would grow out of it, and it looks like he it. now he leans his head back to get a better look

Funny thing is I never saw her doing it and she has been clearly looking at objects for a long time. The ped noticed it and wanted to get a jump on checking it out, so he sent her to the ped eye dr who did a full exam and said all looked well but if the cross eyes becomes more frequent in a few weeks, come in again.
What's so weird is that i never saw her do it and now I am seeing her do it often!! Thanks for your input!

DD did this around the same age. It really upset DH since he needed surgery on his eyes as a child and it wasn't until the 3rd time the pediatrician told him it was normal and all baby's experience it did he finally calm down about it

Thanks, I guess it's more common that it's starting now. Everything I read seems to imply it would have started much longer ago so that concerned me.
What age did your DD stop doing it, or has she not stopped yet?
I don't blame your DH, we have eye issues in our family too so we find it odd we didn't even notice it until the ped mentioned it (or it really truly JUST started).

I'll be honest, she's now 18 months and while I know it did last quite sometime, I can't really remember how long
