Re: Can visitors see inside your house from your front step?

It's hard taking photos of the windows, but I did what I could. In the first pic, you can see my truck through the window. It's beveled and colored and partially distorted glass, but there are sections that are very easy to see through.
2nd pic is with the film on the right window, but not the left.
3rd pic is with the film on both windows.

With the film on, the outside of the door looks almost the same, the inside actually highlights the colored glass more, and you can't see through (unless you look through the transom window above the door.... but if you are going to do that, there's nothing I can do to stop you......)

We have the same sort of door, and it really bothered me that people could see directly into our living room. Thanks for posting pictures and mentioning that product. I'll be looking into doing that for sure. One question though, once you put the film up, can you no longer see who is at the door either, or does it just make it harder to see?

I applied film to my door glass also, for this reason.

Unfortunately you can see right in through my huge bay window, from my porch so I have to keep curtains pulled over the windows.

nope.. which is a good & bad thing. Good because we have privacy- bad because we can not see out the door to see who is knocking...

that is exactly our problem. i hate that! we have a half circle stainglass window at the top of the door, but too high to see out of to see who is at the door. I always opent he door with caution... im very uncomforatable with that

The style that I got blocks all visibility. They have other variations that have differing amounts of visibility. I can see the front steps from other windows in the house, so for me, it was something worth doing. I can see (or not see... Chat Icon Chat Icon ) the downside of not being able to see through the glass at all.

I may play around with some of the other types of film if I get tired of this one...
