2 Hour Glucose test
Has anyone done this? I am going this week. The doctor thinks I may be insulin resistant.

I have....you go fasting, they draw blood, then drink really high sugar drink and sit and wait 2 hours, then they draw blood again. Bring a good book!

I did - just the PP said, they draw baseline bloods then have you drink a glucose drink - but for mine, they took blood every 30 minutes for 2 hours.
It's just like the test they do when you are pregnant.

I had it also. When i got home I got very lightheaded and almost passed out but I lied down and ate and I was fine.
