Stressing, and needs advice about HCg shot.
I've been on clmoid for about 5 months, this month was a triple dose, and I had a ultrasound and I have two big healthy follicles. I took the HCG injection yesterday at 10:30 am. The nurse told me to wait and have intercourse 36 hours after the injection, so that's 10:30 tonight. Well I started feeling the injection at about 12 hours last night. I was hesistant to have sex last night, because the nurse said to wait to ensure potency. I am reading all over the internet that you should have intercourse 12-36 hours after injection. Since we didn't last night.. did we miss the boat? Tonight at 10:30 is 36 hours. Am I stressing for nothing? Is it possible I ovulated before 36 hours? Any advice would be helpful!

I know how stressful timing is, i just had an iui and was paranoid about getting it right. From what you are saying, I would bd tonight, even if it is before 10:30. Good luck!

Thank you :) I will do that. Isn't it amazing how easliy some get pregnant, without knowing about the small window of opportunity? They are lucky! It's amazing how stressfull this is.

I know! Sometimes I'm like, why me, why is it taking so long? Either way, I always try to look at the bright side and know that it will happen one day:) Dont stress anymore about timing and good luck, we will be in the 2ww together

I had my trigger shot on Monday morning and my doc told me to BD Monday night and Tuesday night. I've always heard the shot makes you ovulate in the next 12-24 hours.

36 hours for the shot.
When doing IVF, you trigger at a specific time, and they do the retrieval approx 36 hours later. My last IVF, I triggered at 9:00 pm on Saturday night and my ER was scheduled for 9:00 am on Monday morning.
