HCG Shot/Clomid question....
I have a few questions...this was my 1st cycle taking clomid and having a trigger shot. My question is this b/c of the hcg in your system and/or the clomid is it possible to have early preggo symptoms, like exhaustion, frequent bathroom trips, eating non-stop, irritability, etc.?
I'm assuming it is and I'm just obsessing but for peace of mind I figured I'd ask...
Also how long after an hcg shot can you test? Is 14days correct?

Unfortunately when given the hcg trigger or even progesterone suppositories you will have pregnancy symptoms.
It depends on how many units of hcg was given to you prior to O, however, I would say most people see the hcg leave their system at 10 dpo. So if you were to test at 12 dpo...and got a bfp, it may just be A PREGNANCY :)

Unfortunately, the HCG does mimick pregnancy symptoms.... I was extremely tired and had to go to the bathroom very often the first few days after my shot. I also had a lot of cramping especially on my right side ( that's where I had 4-5 mature follies) that never really subsided for a few weeks. I tested on 11poiui and got a BFN only to test on 14dpoiui and get a BFP.
How are you feeling otherwise?

I feel good, yesterday I was SUPER tired and cranky and ate almost everything I saw lol
Today I'm still a bit tired, not too cranky, just a bit irritable....I feel like I have pms kind of...but overall I feel the same as every other month only with some se of the trigger I guess.... who knows its still early too, I'm only 6dpo so we'll see!!
oh and I've been having some minor cramping....feels like O/pms type cramps and super sore boobs (I have this every month)

It's definitely too early to tell! I didn't really feel anything either - just like you - I had one week where I could eat everything and had some cramping. I never had sore breasts but around 12dpoiui - they felt different.

Oh god, I hated the HCG because of that. I felt PG for 10 freaking days! I was peeing every five minutes and very tired. it was awful!
Around 13 DPO it finally subsided.

I was 100% positive that I was pregnant after my HCG/Clomid cycle bc I had every symptom under the sun. I wasn't pregnant, but I hope you are! Good Luck!

thanks...I feel like the 2nd part of the 2ww goes the slowest...but besides the possible symptoms of hcg shot I'm having minor cramping today which I don't really ever have at this time..who knows though...phantom symtoms I'm sure
