Re: Sleep positioner???

Consumer reports doesn't recommend them due to safety reasons. So I never planned to get one.

Now that I have DD here, I find no reason to get one.

I didn't have one with my first because if they slide down it can suffocate the baby.

Oh, thanks for sharing. I bought one, but it was only 10 bucks. No biggy I guess if we don't use it!

I had one and it was a lifesaver because Andrew had reflux. I never used it when he was really mobile. When he started to get really mobile I bought the crib wedge instead.

Re: Sleep positioner???

we did not get one, then went out and bought one and it was a lifesaver! It helped DD to feel snuggled in... i really think it depends on the baby. She hated being swaddled, but would not sleep in the crib on her own, only on us or in the swing. The positioners helped us transition her into her own crib.

Re: Sleep positioner???

we never planned on getting one because they're supposed to be unsafe. but he refused to sleep at all so we bought it the second day he was home!!! honestly, i don't think it's any different than his ultimate crib sheet. once we got it he started sleeping in his crib (we had him in it from day one). we still use it to prop up his head when he's congested. and it has a fake heartbeat which helped calm him down. best money we ever spent.

Re: Sleep positioner???

I didn't have one at first but then we ran out and got one. (First Years) Emerson HATED being on her back and using the sleep positioner was the only way we could get her to sleep because she felt snuggled on the sides. She hated feeling so "open" in the bassinet.
