horrible morning! Fell down
What a horrible morning! (Sorry I need to vent!)
DH left for work around 7:50am. I was still getting dressed, making my lunch, putting stew in the crockpot etc.
It was POURING and windy and gray.
Left the house and my p.o.s. car wouldnt start- I tried jumping it with a battery charger- nothing!
I called DH in the midst of a hormonal meltdown crying and screaming.
He came back to pick me up and take me to work.
On my way back into the house I slipped on our porch and fell on my butt. I was shaken up but fine.
DH calls me later on at like 1:30 and demands I go to the Dr. to check the baby.
I had to find coverage for my class and explain to the principal that I needed to leave. Luckily she was understanding.
Everything is fine- heard the heartbeat- sounded strong ( Dr even made the comment that it sounds like a boy to her which made me
 because we are 
Finally home and resting and glad this day is over!

yikes! I'm so sorry you fell! It must've shook you up- and it sounds like it especially shook up your DH. Glad your principal was understanding and that everything turned out okay!

Sorry to hear you had a bad day...  If it makes you feel any better my OB said that the heartrate thing is an old wives tale!

yeah I looked it up so I'm not giving her too much credit there but it was just blurted out- DH didnt mind b/c he's secretly wanting a  - I guess we will just wait and see now if she was right or not

Aww I'm sorry! I am glad you and the baby are okay. My doc says the same about the HB - it's an old wives tale!
