What did you pack for the baby?
I just finished the hospital bag and am curious to know what everyone packed for the baby...I want to make sure I didn't forget anything...

Just a coming home outfit and the boppy for feeding. The hospital will send you home with LOTS of diapers, formulas, blankets, and wipe.

I just also put in a receiving blanket to cover him in the car.

I didn't bring anything for him to the hospital. DH brought the car seat, the coming home outfit and blanket to the hospital the morning we were discharged.

Really, you don't need one, the hospital gives you plenty. I only brought an extra b/c it was one my grandma made for me

a new clean side snap tshirt and the coming home outfit is all you really need and the infant carrier and a blanket if its going to be cold or cool out.

I packed 2 coming home outfits, a few receiving blankets so DH can bring them home at night and have the dog smell it, 2 little hats, 2 onesies (as recommended by the hospital), the blanket a friend of the family made for us to cover him on the way home, and a rattle. I know I overpacked, but better be safe than sorry.

the baby probably won't be drooling! DS still isn't drooling at 8 weeks....spitting up formula started at about 5 weeks, but rarely before that!
all i brought was the coming home outfit. they gave me a blanket and everything else you need in the hospital.

coming home outfit, diapers, pacifier, blanket and everything else trust me the hospital gives. i came home with a sack of stuff last time.

I packed a blanket, coming home outfit, nail clipper and picture outfit.
The blanket and coming home outfit match, the nail clipper because I hate those mitts that they put on babies so they don't scratch themselves and the picture outfit, because I did the same for Ava.
I didn't want her first professional pictures to be in an undershirt. She had a really cute, little pink, button up outfit, with a matching hat, with an "A" embroidered on it. I still love these pictures and keep one framed in her room.
For Brody, his outfit for pictures is a pale-blue pair of pants, a white, side snap shirt with trains on it and a matching jacket and hat.
