Take home outfits
Any fall mommies have ideas for what they're dressing their little cuties in when they come home from the hospital?
I kinda like this outfit in either blue or natural, but the natural is sold out now.

My son was born in october and he came home in a onsie, blue pants, and light blue zip up jacket with a hat. Usually cottons, with a onsie underneathe. But we also had warmer weather last year. Good luck

This was the FIRST THING I bought Scone  I didn't even know the gender yet!
I was in sax off fifth and found an outrageous footie PJ in white with sage embroidery. it had amazing detailing (little bunny faces on the tops of the feet, a matching jacket with a bunny's backside and fluffy tail, and a white hat with bunny ears). it was all WAY too much to resist.

I like that outfit Stef!
I plan on bringing her home in a white outfit. I haven't purchased it yet, but I have bought something white for the others, that I kept in their keepsake box with with hospital ID, etc., so I plan on doing the same for her.

They have it at BRU, Target and Sears. The brand name is Tadpoles.
Sears is the only one that has it in natural (which is what I'd really like) but it's sold out for now.

I bought this in newborn size and it was HUGE on DS. He was 6 lbs. 6 oz. He came home in it anyway but he was lost in it! It looked small enought when I bought it, but huge once we saw the baby.
He wore it when he was 4 months old - just to try on because it was the summer when it fit him!

I am having a hard time finding one  It needs to be baby blue and have feet attached. Those are my 2 requirements  So far all I am finding are cream or white outfits.

He is Too Cute and what a shame that he couldn't wear the outfit for his going home. The outfit is gorgeous!

I found a gorgeous knit outfit that I fell in love with, until I saw the price ($150),
I found this, and my mom knitted him a beautiful sweater to match

That's the same outfit DS came home in. He was born in March when it was still chilly so it worked out just fine. I do agree with PP about the size. DS was 8 pounds even when he was born and was swimming in it. It is so cute, though. We also have the matching blanket. I love it!

I went to the BRU in Mass. today and they had a natural colored onepiece like the one you posted except it had a blue and brown trim (knitted). It was so beautiful. I didn't take a look at the sizes though.
