Okay so, Hypothetically speaking....
if one was to take a digital at say... 10dpo and see Not pregnant... and then was to crack open the test and see two lines, the second line being very faint... one should ignore that right?  I mean the package says to ignore it. But, are they just being mean?
Hypothetically speaking, of course.

I have never cracked open a digital but I rember reading on the TTC board a while ago that anything you see inside is not accurate.

Yeah I pretty sure it is not accurate. Unfortunetly it gives me a small glimmer of hope. I hate hope. It only leads to bitter dissapointment.

Here is info for you (Copied and Pasted):
In simple terms, the digital test stick sucks up urine like a "regular" HPT. The test has a control line like every other HPT, to indicate the test worked properly. Then there is a "results zone" where a second line may or may not appear. Here's the difference: the second line may appear even if you are not pregnant, because the antibodies in the "results zone" are NOT testing ONLY for pregnancy hormone. Drumroll please. The "results zone" detects not only hCG (pregnancy hormone) . . . but also LH (luteinizing hormone.) LH is found in women's bodies almost all the time in some quantitity. (See the Fertility Info section for the nitty-gritty.) So, depending upon where you are in your cycle, how much LH your body produces normally (which can be thrown off by conditions like PCOS), you may see a second line even when there is no hCG ("Not Pregnant.")

You have be cracking up over here but only you would be asking this I agree with everyone, the lines once cracked open mean nothing...It is just like the digital OPK. You will see a second line even when you are still getting a O

IGNORE. The digitals pick up on LH as well as HCG, so it is highly possible to get a line but it doesn't mean a thing.
This exact thing happened to me a few months ago, and I was not pregnant.

no, that's not the case but maybe you should try those $ store tests since you may see a different result since those read lower levels of HCG than the digital will
