Question: Did anyone else think it was a really long movie???

Yup! I agree with you! While I loved the movie, I think it could have been just a tad shorter. I did not expect it to be that long.

It was too long. The length would have been okay if they actually had 5 (or at least 4) episodes of material to fill the length with. But they only had about 2 episodes of material and lots of padding.

i saw it at a midnight showing, it was almost 3am by the time it was over...and I could have sat there another 3 hours if I had to!

It was two hours and twenty minutes. They wanted each charachter to have a full story ark. Asides from my incredible need to pee, I didn't think it was too long.

Considering the average length of movies nowadays it was a long movie but like a pp said it could have gone on for hours, I can never get enough of them. Every scene was great and I never felt like the movie was dragging. I did joke with my friend that given that this movie attracts mostly women it needed an intermission so we can get a potty break! While I didn't want the movie to end it sure got uncomfortable sitting with a full bladder.

A a huge fan, I thought the movie was bad.
Not bc they over acted, but bc, for me, they killed the series finale forever in my heart.
To have her go back to him in the last 8 minutes of the movie, after we were devasted for over 2 hours, was terrible.
The movie would have redeemed intself for me if:
She would have deleted his email and stayed single--the true story of the show
They would have gotten married and he died.
I just felt to have him leave her at the altar and then get married a year later at city hall was poor. And for the life of me cannot believe they did it this way.
The relationship, for me, was tarnished forever.
I felt 2 hours was not enough time to get the story completed
