Irregular AF?? Worried

Hi I don't know of this is the right board to post on but I need some input.

I will be 32 in a few months, and although we are not TTC just yet, we have been talking about it.
I am VERY irregular, I don't get AF every month(sometimes it is months) I have been like this all of my life. I am very afraid that this will pose a problem when we TTC in the near future. I am so worried, I am making an appoint with a GYNO, but I would like to know in advance if anyone has had this issue and what steps did your GYNO suggest to do?? and if you have gotten pregnant before was it diffuclt to conceive? Sorry this is so long, but I am very nervous.

I would def. talk to your regular ob/gyn about your irregularity because it could be a problem when TTC. You should look into ruling out PCOS as a first step.
