Possibly the saddest story I've ever read...
I've been wanting to share this for a while but I wanted to wait until the story was published.
The mother in this story is my DH's aunt's sister-in-law's daughter.
I've read the blog everyday since we found out over a month ago. I've been angry (at God), sad and happy all at the same time. For people I've never met. It has left a profound effect on me.

Thats so.....I don't know what words to use, nothing seems to say how horrible, awful and heart breaking that is. I feel terrible for this man, but to think about this woman who died without ever holding her child brings me to tears.

OMG, that is utterly heartbreaking.
The movie, Jersey Girl, has the same sad story and I cry EVERYTIME I watch it. So sad...

Re: Possibly the saddest story I've ever read...
When I read stories like this, it's heartbreaking and like you can't understand why God would let things like this happen. Then, I also think that God(you can replace this with the deity you believ in) knows a lot better than any of us can and can look ahead as to why those things happen. I'm certain that there is a reason for this even though is something that causes so much despair and sadness to say the least. I always try to think that out of everything no matter how sad, hurtful, or negative that happens, something beautiful, and positive emerges even though we just can't see it at that time. This is truly sad.....

OMG the entry from April 23rd ---- there is a photo montage at the end of the entry.
The paper cranes and the picture of the baby in the bowl with the mom's preg picture behind it...
TOTALLY MADE ME CRY!
This is such a sad story.
But it seems like he is a great daddy and will do a good job raising and loving his little daughter.
I wish them the best

Those pictures were amazing. They captured such emotion between father and daughter Did you notice he was wearing her wedding rings
May God and Liz watch over them.

My heart is so heavy with sadness. I keep trying to clear the lump in my throat & I just can't! God Bless this family..this is one of the most moving, courageous & saddest story I have ever read. Yet, it so filled me with hope & admiration to see what a devoted father & husband this man truely is.

I read every single entry. Absolutely heartwrenching.
His love for Liz comes oozing through in the blog. I love that he wears her rings.
Madeline is one very lucky girl to have a dad like that.
