Yep. It *****. I realized too late that I was either still registered as a republican (did it back in 2001 to vote for Mikey B), or I had changed to independent..not sure. So I filed the change of party form, but it was too late since when I called it said I'm not affiliated with any party. The rule is you can't change parties and vote in the primary within the same calendar year. 
I'm so depressed.

I think the Deomcratic race is the more interesting one today, although I am a registered Republican.
ETA: GRRR, Andy keeps hitting the keyboard.
I can't believe Huckabee is beating Romney. This is probably the only poll where that happens.

Because I'm pretty sure I'm registered Independant. I just filled out a slip of paper when I voted this morning to declare myself Democrat.
Or maybe I never declared at all?

It must vary from state to state b/c there are some states where you can vote for anyone in either party, and you can be independent and vote in the primary.
