It's positive
We're pregnant! It's very early on but we're optimistic. This will be our first. I have a regular check up next week but they said until I'm 8 weeks they can't tell anything. Also, I was referred to this doctor Egner in Islip but they told me they are no longer practicing obstetrics. Can anyone recommend a doctor around the Patchogue area who will deliver at Brookhaven Hospital or Southside in Bay Shore?

I live in Patchogue and go to Oakdale OBGYN, they deliver at Southside. I love love love my Dr.'s and loved Southside.

um..I go to Dr. Egner and she still practices OB.

I have never been to doctor Egner and have an appointment for next week. When I got my positive results I called to see if they could get me in earlier and at that time they told me that they no longer practice obstetrics and that they would have to refer me to another practice that does.

Thanks..I just called. She and Dr. Polidoro will no longer be delivering babies as of July 1, 2008. Luckily I'm due in January, so it doesn't affect me.

Sorry to worry you...I'm glad she will still be available for you. I had heard great things about their practice so I'm a bit disappointed but that's life.

I go to Suffolk OBGYN- they have an office in Patchogue- they probably deliver at Brookhaven. It's a big practice where you have to see all the Drs and don't really know who will delivery your baby, but I like ht elarge practice thing.

I go to Oakdale obgyn also for many years and love them. Dr. O'sullivan delivered my daughter and will hopefully deliver this one. But like both other Doc's as well.589-1555
