I think so...because of the nitrates....
ETA: I got the shivers with the thought of eating 3 hotdogs because of the heartburn it would give me at this point in my pregnancy....

I eat Smart Dogs, they are soy hot dogs... no nitrates. Throw some condiments on them, you can barely taste the difference.

I ate a ton of hotdogs in the beginning! For some reason they were so appealing to me!

My OB told me that they are ok to eat once in awhile. Just don't eat them all the time.

They're okay in moderation because of the nitrates. I found some nitrate-free ones in Wild By Nature that aren't bad.
